"Free Iran"

In Iran peaceful demonstrations and protests of the population are broken-up brutally by the government, women an minorities repressed and people with different political views systematically pursued. Torture and executions of political enemies are common, so is corruption and state arbitrariness.

The strength and amount of brave protests and strikes in Iran show the discontent of large parts of the population.

Who tolerates the behavior of this inhuman regime, strengthens and supports, not only the supression of the Iranian people, but also international terrorism and Iran's nuclear armament.

That is why we demand from Switzerland that it reviews its close political and economic relations with the iranian government and that it supports the efforts of the iranian people for liberty, democracy and a secular state. This is the only way Switzerland can make a contribution to the implementation of human rights in Iran.

We would like to hand this petition to Parliament and Federal Council by the end of May, 2010 - and we need as many signatures as possible! Please help us.
